Metigoshe has a restaurant, grocery and liquor store, gas, propane, pontoon boat rentals, beach, playground, boat launch, and hiking trails.  The Turtle Mountains have miles of trails for snowmobiling and equestrian use.  The area is a favourite for hunting and fishing.  Nearby is Whitewater Lake, famous for its abundant migratory bird population.  Fishing at Metigoshe offers pike, walleye, bluegill and perch.  The International Peace Garden is 40 minutes away.  There are two 9-hole golf courses within a half hour of Metigoshe at Deloraine and Boissevain.
